1970s Endangered Species Act Tee

$35.00
Only 1 available

This is the second of these tees I’ve ever come across. The first one I will never give away; it was given to me by the original owner, who wore the hell out of it in her yesteryears, and it's an ultra-baby-tee fit. This one is a classic red tee with a fun blue ink design.

These shirts were made, I’d guess, in 1976 or around 1977 when the Endangered Species Act was enacted, to promote the legislation. Kind of like we need to be doing, again, today!

Front: Save the Wolf, predators keep the balance with a wolf graphic

Back: Endangered Species threatened by persistent pesticides, bald eagle (with a bald eagle graphic)

Untagged - best fits S/M

PTP: ~18”

Length: ~27”

  • Lightly distressed

  • Perfect little holes in sleeves, on collar — see photos for deets.

All pieces are sold in as-is condition. Pieces are vintage, which means signs of wear and tear are expected — some are almost a hundred years old, ya know? Purchasing vintage means acquiring materials with a history + garments made with higher quality materials than products made today. The way she goes.
